Kindergarten

Well, we made it!  and by 'we,' I mean, Mom.  She didnt even cry when she put me on the bus--but she did follow the bus to school and take my picture again.  Crazy lady!

Kindergarten is even more awesome than I ever expected!  I love riding the bus with my friends, I love my teacher, and kindergarten is fun all day long!!!  My teacher is Mrs. Johnson and she is so nice--and she said that we are the best kindergarten class in the whole school.

I get on the bus around 720a so Mom and Dad have to wake me up, which kind of stinks.  We get to school and go straight to our classrooms and start our day. I have about 16 other kids in my class and my friend, Bailey, from my preschool, sits right across from me.  So far, we haven't learned how to read but we've been learning all the rules for the class and the school.  I've been a really good boy and Mrs. Johnson told Mom that I was a sweet boy--gotta keep up the act!!!

I hope school continues to be this much fun and I cannot wait to learn how to read!

Well, summer is officially coming to an end. Tomorrow is the last day and I start school on Tuesday. I can't believe I'm going to be a kindergartener!  Mom is a wreck but she's trying to put on a brave face for me.  We went to my school and met my teacher and all of my classmates so I'm getting pretty excited.

We had some friends over tonight to celebrate the end of summer...some of my buddies who are going to different schools.  We had a blast and I know I'll still get to see them lots.  When I took a bath tonight, I told Mom that it feels good to have friends. I know I'll make lots more in kindergarten but I really love the ones I already have.

So, of course, the rest of the summer has been filled with lots of fun stuff.  We took a family vacation to Myrtle Beach and stayed in this awesome place that had it's own water park. Mom was disappointed that Ryan and I wanted to spend more time there than at the beach but what did she expect?!    We went Saturday through Thursday and made it home just in time to get ready for Hurricane Irene. We lost power for a few days, which really stunk.  Mom kept trying to tell us that we should just be thankful that we didn't lose anything and that a long time ago, people didn't EVER have electricity but honestly, that didn't make me feel any better about the situation.  I was SO glad to get it back, have some air-conditioning, and play my Wii.

Anyway, here's some pictures. I'll be back this week to update on my first day of school!!!

Summertime is in full gear...well, actually, it's almost over now.  I finished my first baseball season--i had the best coaches!  They took the whole team for slurpees one day and then another day, they took us all to McDonald's for lunch.

I had my first trip to Busch Gardens of the year with some buddies.
Mom, Ryan, MiMa, and I went to Yorktown Beach for a day.
We finally got Ryan baptized in June.
In July, we celebrated my 5th birthday at home with a sports party--and the Kona Ice Truck!!

Then we travelled down to Chesapeake to spend a few days with Grandma and Granddad.  First, a day at the beach with MiMa and PaPa.

and then a trip to Chuck E Cheese and Olive Garden on my actual birthday!
Other than that, our summer has been full of playdates,  trips to the river, the beach, the pool, and Busch Gardens.  I start Kindergarten in just five weeks so we're trying to pack it all in!!!

Summertime Catchup

Well, Dad's been bugging me to death to update this thing. There's no way I can even start to update since February, so I'll just share lots of pictures!

In March, we had all of our cousins here and we went to the Shuk 'n Pull. I don't know if it will become a tradition but I loved having everyone here!

I had my Easter Program at school.
 I started BASEBALL!!!!!

We did lots of fun stuff for Easter......

The weather turned nice and we started going to the park. Ryan was new at this so he needed lots of water breaks.
I took a Martial Arts class with Davis and I loved that, too, but Mom says we just can't do it all so i guess I'll stick with my sports.
In May, I graduated from pre-school.  Mom cried.
We celebrated  Memorial Day at the river with the Rusnaks.

Then, a couple of weeks later, Mom took us back to the river just to play.

To be continued.................
