My last post was a downer but I'm all better now! Mom and Dad stayed home with me for a few days and I was quickly back to my crazy 'ol self. The weather has been great so we did lots of fun stuff to enjoy it.

Friday, Mom and MiMa took me to Maymont to play. We played soccer, climbed hills, and saw some animals. They bribed me with lunch so I would leave, so we went to this great place in Carytown and ate lunch outside---and then I got icecream at Ben and Jerry's. It was awesome!!

That afternoon, I went to Davis' to play. His mom and dad are on a trip so we got to play with his grandparents and you won't believe what I got to do on the farm......plant corn!! It was SO much fun and I can't wait to watch it grow. We sprayed each other with water guns for most of the afternoon and then mom dragged me home kicking and screaming. Mom forgot the camera, though.

Mom and Dad decided, at the last minute, to take a trip to DC, so we got up early on saturday and drove up there. We went to the mall (I wonder if Mom was disappointed that there were no stores to shop in?!) and walked around outside. We saw the capitol and some monuments and even went through a few museums. I loved the air and space and the natural history....but the american history was b-o-r-i-n-g. Mom said she was just going to go back without me so she could see that one...and I say, "fine by me." Here's a few pics of our saturday in DC:

We had a yummy dinner and spent the night in a hotel. Then, on sunday, we went to the zoo!! My cousins met me there, too, even though it was a last minute trip. It was so much fun to walk around with Henry and Adam and see all the fun animals. Mom didn't take any pictures of this day for some reason. I guess she was having too much, too. After the zoo, we drove back to richmond and there's was even more fun to be had.
We went to Uncle Andy and Aunt Sammie's for a cookout that evening. I wore myself out playing with Sonny and Jake and had the best time!! I can't wait to hang out with them again!
Things settled down for a couple of days but I heard some talk about the beach and Mom and Dad have been packing, so who knows what's going on. I'll fill you in next week!!

I've been feeling a little under the weather this weekend, so I don't have much exciting to say. Mom took me to the doctor on thursday for a check-up. She said that I wasn't sick and she wasn't sick and Daddy wasn't sick, but for some reason, we still had to go there. She said the doctor wanted to see how much I weighed and how tall I was, but we already know that--so why couldn't we just tell them? Anyway, it doesn't make any sense to me but we went anyways and I think I caught something while I was there. I've had a fever on and off and my mouth hurts, which mom says is probably my throat.

On friday night, Mom, Grandma, and I went to MiMa and PaPa's for dinner. Uncle Rick and Aunt Leslie were there and it was so much fun. I played with Uncle Rick outside but then I started to feel bad so I skipped dinner. Everyone else seemed to really enjoy it, though.

Dad and Granddad finished the shed!! It is SO nice and as I ate dinner tonight, I gazed out the window and said to Dad, "That sure is a nice shed. Thank you for building that shed, Dad." They worked really hard on it and it shows!

While they worked on that, Mom worked on the yard and got all kinds of pretty flowers planted. I tried to help her but it's kind of boring so I mostly just played outside and with Grandma.

I thought we were going to Nags Head this wednesday, but Mom and her silly friend, Amy, got the dates mixed up. Now, we have to wait a whole 'nother week to go. Mom says the weather will probably be nicer then but she's probably just covering up for her mistake.

Hope everyone had a great weekend!!!!!

Happy Easter!

I've been so busy hunting Easter eggs that I forgot all about my blog. I had four easter egg hunts this year and I am overloaded with candy and plastic eggs. I have to make sure Mom doesn't eat any of the candy b/c she says it isn't good for you and makes your teeth hurt. I feel sorry for her b/c it doesn't make my teeth hurt at all and it's really good for me!!

Here's Mom, Dad, and I on Easter:

My buddy, Davis, had this awesome Easter Party where we painted eggs. I painted a bunch of eggs pink, which is my new favorite color!

Here, on Davis' farm, I'm standing in front of the lettuce that I actually planted myself. His mom says I even get to have it when it grows up. I did take one leaf of it and leave it for the Easter Bunny last weekend and he ate it so it must be good lettuce.

My church had an Easter party and I got my face painted. All the pretty girls were getting pink butterflies, so I wanted one, too and MiMa talked me into blue one.
These are some of my buddies at school. We had an easter party there, too, and went on an egg hunt.

Here's my new buddy, the Easter Bunny. He didn't get to do the easter egg hunt with us, so I gave him some of my treats that I found.
Uncle Andy, Aunt Sammy, and I on Easter
Okay, I've been saving the best for last. I got some great stuff in my easter basket--some eggs with jelly beans, a book or something.....but just LOOK at what else the easter bunny brought me:

It's a gigantic inflatable sports arena. It's so awesome! We set it up on monday and Davis and I played in it. I can't wait to have all my friends over for some pick-up soccer and basketball games.
I hope everyone has a great week. I've got a busy week of potty-training ahead of me. Mom's been using all that easter candy to bribe me to use the potty--and it's working :)

Man, where do I begin? I promise I'll get better about updating. I don't know where the time goes!

I've been busy. Maybe these pictures will help fill in the time since I last updated:

Here's my buddy, Davis, and I eating lunch one Monday. Him and his mom came over for a playdate and we had a blast:
Here's Daddy and Grandaddy building the shed. They worked ALL weekend on it but they got lots done and I love showing 'my shed' to all my friends.
Oh, this is a good one. While grandaddy and daddy were building the shed, Mom and Grandma took me to the science museum. I wasn't really into it--there wasn't enough stuff to do, although, we did see some rats playing basketball. The coolest part, though, was that they let me ride a Segway around. Not all the kids get to try this there, so I thought I was pretty cool.
Three Matthews?! Mom says there's no way the world could handle three of me. I think this is pretty cool, though. I'm at the science museum here:
Here's me at another one of my favorite places: The Inflatable Palace. It's a really cool place with tons of moonbounces. My friends and I go and just jump around for hours. Mom has to get in them with me and she says she doesn't even have to exercise after spending the morning here. It's cool I can help mom out--we get to play and she gets some exercise!
I've got lots going on in the next few weeks. I'm going to my buddy, Carter's, for a playdate tomorrow and then there's a big easter egg hunt at church this weekend. Hopefully it'll be like the last one I wen tto--where all the easter eggs are filled with candy :)

I'll be back soon. I have way too much to say to wait so long to update.
